the best on the market. There are other makes and models, but none
perform like the Motorola 9505. These phones are invaluable whenever
you travel places. We have used ours in the far reaches of Alaska,
Fiji and Mexico. All you do is flip up the antenna and make the call
- almost just like a cellular call. We have different service plans

GPS
We stock Garmin GPS units. These units are great any time you
travel. I have landed late at night, got a rental car, put in the
hotels address and the voice turn by turn guided me directly to the hotel
in totally unfamilar surroundings. My GPS has also saved me from
great difficulty. One Thanksgiving we parked at the Skyharbor
airport and was running late. Our car was on less than empty
indicating less than 3 miles till it goes kaput. Upon returning, I
did a search for the closest gas station. The turn by turn
instructions led me through a very complex terminal area directly to the
gas station. If I had not had my GPS I would have run out of gas in
some bad parts of town.

Weather Radios are a must. Everyone should have one.
Weather is one ever occuring natural disasters that seems to hit
everywhere. Our favorite is the Midland WR-300. We keep it
tuned to the weather and get the alerts as they happen. A must to
protect you and your family.
Scanners
Scanners are a great way to listen in to the action. Whether it
is air, police, fire, EMS or the trash collector - our scanners will
receive it.
CERT Supplies
Civil Emergency Response Teams are the backbone of the volunteer system
backing up police, fire and EMS response systems in case of disasters.

phone, you just set it up to communicate with the ear boom mic and you
have wireless handsfree. This enhances safety! If you don't
have a bluetooth phone there is a system that has a headset holder and
bluetooth transmitter that you can plug into most cell phones and make it
communicate with the ear boom mic - these are really cool. Check
